Carolyn Sebban was born and raised in Burbank, California. She was an art major in school and has studied art for many years. Recently, she has started her own business called "Sebban Designs." Her paintings range from miniatures to large.
A few years ago, she was so inspired by a visit to one of California's Missions, that she decided to paint a series of these historic buildings. The California Missions Series represents the vibrant history and profound beauty of these historic adobe structures, whose influences can still be seen in much of California architecture.
Her painting of "Carmel Mission" was the first painting ever accepted by the Carmel Mission as its signature painting. You can also find her works at San Juan Capistrano, San Miguel, and Santa Barbara Missions, as well as Durden Gallery in Memphis, Tennessee.
Carolyn is currently working on a series of paintings of France focusing on its countrysides and villages!
